Pitch Drift introduces pitch movement ranging from restrained instability to more obvious wobble. It is useful for loosening a static sustained part or creating deliberately imperfect textures. Its effect depends strongly on the source, so compare a held tone with more transient material. Keep the amount modest when the musical part needs to retain a clear sense of pitch.
Check sustained notes and rhythmic passages separately. Modulation that adds interest to a held sound can blur articulation elsewhere, so the wet balance should follow the role of the part.
