Yamaha Updates DXR, DXS, CXR and CXS Loudspeakers to mk3

Yamaha has launched third-generation versions of its DXR powered loudspeakers and DXS powered subwoofers along with passive CXR and CXS counterparts.

The DXR mk3 range includes 10-, 12- and 15-inch models, while the DXS mk3 powered subwoofers are offered in 12-, 15- and 18-inch versions. Matching CXR and CXS models provide passive alternatives for installed and system-amplified applications.

Yamaha specifies maximum output up to 132 dB SPL for the DXR series and 134 dB SPL for DXS subwoofers. The powered models add flexible crossover functions, DSP and remote operation through Yamaha’s D-Remote app, with grouping, level and mute control for as many as ten devices.
