UVI Falcon 2027 Draws Strong Early Interest for a Free Major Update

UVI’s Falcon 2027 update is drawing unusually strong early discussion among software-instrument users, particularly because it is a substantial feature release that remains free for registered Falcon users.

The October 8 update adds four oscillators — West Folder, FM Explorer, Spectral Stretch and MultiSample — plus ten effects, a new Data Envelope modulator, redesigned editors, browser and workflow changes, and 140 new presets. UVI also introduced three Falcon expansions alongside the update.

Community activity is notable rather than merely promotional. A dedicated VI-Control thread reached dozens of replies and roughly 2,000 views within its first few days, with much of the discussion centered on the scope of the free update, the new modulation tools and Falcon’s continuing development. KVR also featured the release prominently in its software-news stream. That reaction is an attention signal, not TAM’s hands-on evaluation of the software.

Falcon 2027 is a free update for registered users, including SonicBundle owners and SonicPass subscribers. UVI launched new licenses at US$149 / €149 through October 26, 2026, compared with the regular US$299 / €299 price.
