Softube Limit Pro and Limit Go Add Two Approaches to Limiting
Softube released Limit Pro and Limit Go on October 7, 2026, according to its version 2.6.45 release notes. The pair uses a shared limiting engine but offers different levels of control.
Limit Pro provides three peak-suppression methods: Standard, Adaptive and Fast. Its release controls can respond to frequency content, and a separate Low Frequency Protection function is intended to reduce bass distortion. True-peak processing, gain matching and delta monitoring support comparison while adjusting level.
Metering includes LUFS, peak and true-peak readings, plus displays for distortion and loudness loss. These tools are intended to show the trade-offs involved as limiting becomes more aggressive; they do not establish transparency by themselves.
Limit Go presents a smaller interface with Raw, Clean and Safe styles. It is included with Limit Pro and is also offered separately. The checked product pages display euro sale and regular prices, but do not establish an official US MSRP, so none is quoted here.
