Roland Adds JUPITER-08 and n/vision to the Boutique Synthesizer Range

Roland announced the JUPITER-08 and n/vision on October 20, 2026, adding two compact instruments to its Boutique series. Both include a K-25m keyboard dock, built-in speaker and USB-C audio/MIDI connectivity.

The JUPITER-08 draws on the panel layout and sound of the JUPITER-8, with an expanded mode offering up to 32 voices. A two-part, 64-step polyphonic sequencer supports motion recording. Effects include 17 MFX types, delay and reverb. The featured photograph shows the JUPITER-08 in its included dock.

The new n/vision takes a different approach, using two wavetable layers with modulation of wave position, layer balance and other parameters. Nonlinear wave shaping generates additional harmonics, while filter models, step LFOs and motion recording extend its programming options.

Both instruments support battery or USB-C power, making them usable away from a computer as well as in a software-based studio. Roland’s announcement does not give an MSRP or a specific shipping date.
