LEWITT LW6 Brings Uncompressed Wireless Monitoring to Studio Headphones

By TAM Staff ·

LEWITT’s 2026 LW6 Wireless Studio Headphones use a dedicated RealSound transmitter to carry uncompressed PCM audio. In a September 30 FAQ, the company specifies 5.8 ms of wireless latency and a working range of up to five metres.

Those figures describe the wireless link; recording-system latency also depends on the interface, buffer and signal path. LEWITT recommends keeping the transmitter in view, since walls and closed doors can interrupt reception. One transmitter serves one pair of headphones.

The closed-back LW6 also supports USB-C, analog cable and Bluetooth listening. Bluetooth uses SBC or AAC compression, so it is a different connection from the uncompressed RealSound link. USB-C supplies power to the transmitter.

LEWITT quotes up to 21 hours of RealSound battery operation. Three user EQ profiles can be stored in the headphones, alongside onboard virtual-monitoring and mix-check functions. Space Replicator Essential software is included. An official US MSRP was not established from the checked pages.
