Lindell Audio’s LiN76 mkII Updates Its FET Compressor
Catch-up: originally announced June 3, 2026. Lindell Audio’s LiN76 mkII updates the company’s 76-style FET compressor with a revised compression circuit, new power architecture and several workflow changes.
The mkII adds an RCA stereo-link connection for pairing two units, true bypass, a rear-panel meter-calibration control and an internal power supply with a standard IEC inlet. Attack and release now follow the conventional 76-style direction, with clockwise movement producing faster time constants.
Lindell says the input stage draws on Rev. D and Rev. G circuits, while the output stage takes inspiration from Rev. A. Ratios are 4:1, 8:1, 12:1 and 20:1, with an all-buttons mode; the unit retains balanced I/O, variable attack and release and a VU meter. The manufacturer’s official U.S. price is $399 USD, identified in the launch material as U.S. MAP.
