Voxengo MSED

MSED is a mid/side encoding, decoding and level-control utility. It is useful for inspecting stereo information and building processing chains that treat the shared center differently from the side component. Correct routing is essential when encoding and decoding around other plug-ins. Check the final stereo signal and mono sum after adjustments, particularly on a full mix.

Compare the stereo presentation with a mono sum and, where possible, on both speakers and headphones. Image changes can affect apparent balance even when no conventional equalizer or compressor is involved.
