Wavacity brings an Audacity-derived editing environment into a browser. It is useful for waveform editing and simple multitrack work without a conventional desktop installation. Browser memory and file-handling limits still matter with long recordings. The web application is a distinct deployment from desktop Audacity, so check its supported functions rather than assuming every desktop feature is present.
Keep an untouched source file when making destructive edits or conversions. Check the exported audio as well as the project, particularly when the destination requires a specific sample rate or bit depth.
