Fender Opens Limited Run for Mark Hoppus “Stoned Fruit” Jaguar Bass

By Richard Alan Salz ·

Fender announced the Limited Edition Mark Hoppus “Stoned Fruit” Jaguar Bass on October 22, 2026. The web-exclusive model is based on the Guava Green Jaguar Bass Hoppus has used onstage with blink-182 since 2023; Fender said orders would remain open for 182 hours rather than setting a fixed production quantity.

The alder-body bass uses a 34-inch scale maple neck with Fender’s custom “C” profile, a 9.5-inch-radius slab rosewood fingerboard and 20 medium-jumbo frets. Its single Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pound split-coil P Bass pickup is mounted in the reversed position associated with Hoppus’ signature instruments and feeds a single master-volume control. Hardware includes a four-saddle HiMass Vintage bridge, lightweight vintage-style tuners and a custom neck plate. Fender supplies the “Stoned Fruit” graphics as a separate sticker pack, along with a deluxe gig bag.

Fender lists the model at a USD MSRP of $1,499.99; regional MSRPs are £1,499, €1,749, AUD $2,549 and JPY ¥247,500.
