Waveform Free

Waveform Free provides a conventional track-based environment for recording, editing and mixing audio alongside MIDI instruments. Its arrangement view supports complete songs rather than short demonstration sessions. It is a useful starting point for home recording or a second editing computer, with an upgrade path for users who later need the commercial edition’s additional tools.
Before a full session, check audio-device selection, input monitoring and the project sample rate. A short saved project and exported audio file are useful first checks of the complete workflow.
