Qtractor

Qtractor is a Linux audio and MIDI sequencer with a track-based arrangement interface. It combines recorded audio, MIDI clips and plug-in processing for users building a workstation around Linux audio infrastructure. Its emphasis is on sequencing and session work, making it useful for multitrack projects where routing, instrument hosting and editing need to share one timeline.

Before a full session, check audio-device selection, input monitoring and the project sample rate. A short saved project and exported audio file are useful first checks of the complete workflow.
