sforzando
By Plogue
sforzando plays instruments defined in the SFZ sample-mapping format. It is useful for accessing compatible acoustic and synthetic sample libraries without a large commercial sampler. The player and the sound library are separate components, each with its own licensing considerations. It does not turn every sample collection into a ready-made instrument; the SFZ definition supplies mapping and playback instructions.
The player and its sound content are separate licensing decisions. Keep a note of the library source and save its location with the project so the instrument remains available when reopening a session.
