Kontakt Player

Kontakt Player is the free playback edition of Native Instruments’ sampler platform. It is useful for running libraries explicitly licensed for the Player and exploring included content. It is not equivalent to the full Kontakt editor. Libraries that require full Kontakt may run only as timed demonstrations in Player, so verify compatibility before describing a third-party instrument as freely usable.
The player and its sound content are separate licensing decisions. Keep a note of the library source and save its location with the project so the instrument remains available when reopening a session.
