Hysteresis combines delay with modulation and glitch-oriented processing. It is useful for unstable echoes, synthetic spaces and sound-design material that changes as it repeats. Feedback structures can become dense quickly. Start from a restrained balance and capture useful passages as audio when the effect produces a particularly effective transition or evolving texture.
Save intermediate versions while experimenting, especially before a large routing or parameter change. Keeping the original source alongside a rendered result makes later arrangement and revision much easier.
