Prisma

Prisma is a modular multiband distortion effect from Unplugred’s open-source collection. It is useful for applying different nonlinear treatments across a signal’s frequency regions. The multiband structure encourages more selective sound design than putting one distortion across the entire source. Compare the complete output in context, since separate bands can sound convincing alone but create an uneven combined balance.

Input level is part of the sound of nonlinear processing. Compare with output gain compensated, and listen to both transient detail and quieter passages before committing a strongly colored render.
