Chataigne

Chataigne connects and maps control information among software and devices. It is useful for live systems, installations and custom performance interactions involving MIDI, OSC or other protocols. It is a control environment rather than a sound generator. Test mappings and value ranges carefully, especially when one gesture changes several processors or external devices at the same time.

MIDI carries performance instructions rather than recorded sound. Confirm the receiving instrument, channel assignments and note mapping when exchanging a file or moving the setup to another computer.
