Fender Motion Controllers Bring Dedicated Hardware Control to Studio Pro

Fender Studio has introduced Motion, a pair of pad-based production controllers designed around Fender Studio Pro. Available with 16 or 32 pads, Motion combines beatmaking and melodic performance controls with dedicated DAW operation.

The more interesting part is the integration rather than the pad count. Fender is building a hardware layer around Studio Pro, with chord and scale functions, sequencing, mixing and live-performance control intended to keep the user out of the mouse-and-keyboard loop. That makes Motion another indication that Fender intends Studio Pro to be a platform rather than simply a rebranded DAW.
