API Launches Vision+ Large-Format Analog Console

API has introduced the Vision+, a substantial update to its large-format Vision analog recording and mixing console. The new model keeps the in-line analog signal path but revises the input module, center section, automation system and frame design.

Vision+ is available in 32-, 48-, 64-, 80- and 96-channel frames, with two 100 mm motorized faders per channel. For studios still committed to a large analog desk, the interesting part here is not simply another API console but the extent to which API has updated the Vision platform rather than abandoning it.
