Fender Introduces Vintera III Vintage-Inspired Guitar Range

Fender has introduced Vintera III, a ground-up revision of its vintage-inspired guitar and bass range. The new series moves further toward era-specific specifications, with instruments intended to represent distinct early-, mid- and late-period Fender designs from the 1950s through the 1970s.

That distinction matters. Vintera has always occupied the space between modern production instruments and substantially more expensive vintage-reissue models; the third generation puts greater emphasis on period-correct neck shapes, pickups, hardware and finishes rather than simply vintage styling.
