NIBBI

NIBBI turns recorded or imported sounds into a playable sampler with tape-looping and pattern-oriented workflows. Its NIBBI and S950 playback characters provide contrasting approaches to sample texture, while TAPE and TEMPO organize performance differently. It is useful for resampling, rhythmic chopping and developing a short source into a layered idea. The desktop application, plug-ins and browser version provide several ways to start, with session storage and input routing documented by the developer.

The player and its sound content are separate licensing decisions. Keep a note of the library source and save its location with the project so the instrument remains available when reopening a session.
