Polyphone

Polyphone is an editor for creating and managing SoundFont instruments. It is useful for mapping samples, adjusting playback parameters and preparing banks for compatible synthesizers. Editing a SoundFont does not provide rights to the samples it contains. Keep original recordings and document the source licenses when preparing a library for sharing or use beyond a private production session.

The player and its sound content are separate licensing decisions. Keep a note of the library source and save its location with the project so the instrument remains available when reopening a session.
