Saturation Knob supplies a compact harmonic-coloration effect with a simple drive control and selectable behavior. It is useful for adding density to bass, drums or vocals without opening a complicated processor. Output changes can influence perception, so compensate when comparing. The plug-in is free, but the developer’s account and license-management requirements remain part of installation.
Input level is part of the sound of nonlinear processing. Compare with output gain compensated, and listen to both transient detail and quieter passages before committing a strongly colored render.
