Chord Electronics Adds ULTIMA 7 Stereo Power Amplifier

Chord Electronics has previewed the ULTIMA 7, a new full-width stereo power amplifier positioned as the entry point to the company’s ULTIMA power-amplifier range.

The British-built amplifier is rated at 135 watts per channel into 8 ohms and uses Chord’s Dual Feed Forward error-correction topology. Its chassis height is designed to complement the ULTIMA PRE 3 preamplifier.

Chord first showed the amplifier at HIGH END Vienna 2026 ahead of its formal launch. The ULTIMA 7 extends the company’s high-end analog amplifier range below its larger ULTIMA models.
