WaveEdit
By Synthesis Technology / WaveEdit Contributors
WaveEdit is a wavetable editor for creating and arranging single-cycle waveforms. It is useful for preparing oscillator material for compatible hardware or software instruments, particularly systems using organized wavetable banks. Waveform shape and transitions both affect the played result. Keep the editable bank alongside exported data and verify the receiving instrument’s expected format before transferring a library.
Save intermediate versions while experimenting, especially before a large routing or parameter change. Keeping the original source alongside a rendered result makes later arrangement and revision much easier.
Editor output must match the receiving instrument’s wavetable format; the synthesizer or hardware itself is separate.
