Proteus

Proteus is a guitar-oriented neural-model player from GuitarML. It is useful for loading compatible captures and exploring modeled amplifier or pedal behavior. Models and plug-in versions must match the supported architecture. Treat the official model documentation as part of installation, and check the surrounding signal chain before attributing every tonal difference to the captured device alone.

For direct recording, check interface input gain and monitoring latency before evaluating the sound. A pedal or amplifier processor may still need separate cabinet processing, depending on the signal chain.
