Filterjam

Filterjam is a multi-band resonant filtering effect for creative spectral shaping. It is useful for unusual textures, resonant movement and changing the character of a source beyond conventional corrective EQ. Different settings can emphasize very different parts of the signal. Use conservative monitoring levels while exploring resonance, and capture successful results when the effect becomes part of an arrangement gesture.

Judge tonal changes with the part playing in the arrangement. Matching the bypass and processed listening levels helps avoid choosing a setting simply because it sounds louder or brighter.
