DeltaWave compares audio recordings with alignment and difference-analysis tools. It is useful for investigating changes introduced by conversion, processing or a signal chain. Careful alignment matters because timing and level differences can dominate a null comparison. The software supports analytical listening and inspection; a residual signal alone does not establish whether a difference is musically important or audible under normal conditions.
A useful display begins with a clear question and appropriate measurement settings. Confirm important observations through listening or a second check, and document calibration where absolute measurements matter.
