BYOD
By ChowDSP
BYOD is a modular guitar-processing environment for connecting different distortion and supporting stages. It is useful for building a custom drive chain rather than choosing one fixed pedal model. The routing and level between modules can substantially affect the response. Save the structure with the session and check any separate amplifier or cabinet stages needed for the intended recorded sound.
For direct recording, check interface input gain and monitoring latency before evaluating the sound. A pedal or amplifier processor may still need separate cabinet processing, depending on the signal chain.
