Box of Bass
By Box Of Rules
Box of Bass builds a layered bass chain from sub, clean cabinet, driven microphone and room paths. It is useful for turning a DI recording into a structured mix sound without constructing every parallel route separately. The drive stage, master EQ and simplified view provide different levels of control. Its current desktop edition is available at zero price for commercial use; the separate Darkglass Anagram hardware block has different pricing.
For direct recording, check interface input gain and monitoring latency before evaluating the sound. A pedal or amplifier processor may still need separate cabinet processing, depending on the signal chain.
