AmpliTube 5 CS
By IK Multimedia
AmpliTube 5 CS provides a permanently free starting collection of guitar-processing gear within the AmpliTube environment. It is useful for recording direct guitar and assembling a basic amplifier-and-effects chain. The Custom Shop also presents paid models, which should not be mistaken for included equipment. Install the free edition explicitly and distinguish permanent free gear from any temporary model trials.
For direct recording, check interface input gain and monitoring latency before evaluating the sound. A pedal or amplifier processor may still need separate cabinet processing, depending on the signal chain.
Free CS tier has a restricted gear/content selection; optional purchases and temporary trials are separate. IK account and product manager required.
