Charvel Launches USA-Made American Neo-Classic San Dimas Series

Charvel has introduced two USA-made American Neo-Classic San Dimas models: the Style 1 SD1 HH FR MPL and SD1 HH HT MPL. The pair returns the San Dimas format to a California-built production instrument while offering Floyd Rose and hardtail configurations.

The release is more interesting than another cosmetic variation because it puts a professional-specification, USA-built San Dimas back near the center of Charvel’s range. Both models use the familiar double-humbucker layout and are aimed squarely at the high-performance guitar market. Pricing should be treated from Charvel’s current product listings rather than inferred from dealer discounts.
