SSL O-Series 2.0 Expands Oracle and Odyssey Workflow

SSL has released O-Series 2.0, a significant software update for its Oracle Future Analogue console platform. The update adds session-compatibility, automation, Instant Recall management and workflow changes, and establishes project compatibility between Oracle and the newer Odyssey console.

That last point is probably the most interesting for commercial rooms: compatibility between the two console platforms makes SSL’s Future Analogue idea look more like an ecosystem and less like an isolated desk. The value will ultimately depend on how reliably those recalls and transfers work in actual sessions.
