TS-999

TS-999 is an overdrive-pedal simulation for guitar-oriented signal chains. It is useful for tightening an amplifier’s input, adding midrange emphasis or producing pedal-style distortion. Placement before or after other nonlinear stages changes the result. Compare gain and output level deliberately, particularly when using the pedal mainly as a boost rather than as the dominant distortion source.

For direct recording, check interface input gain and monitoring latency before evaluating the sound. A pedal or amplifier processor may still need separate cabinet processing, depending on the signal chain.
