MT-A models a high-gain distortion-pedal approach with substantial tone shaping. It is useful for exploring aggressive guitar textures and creating a pronounced processed sound. The broad tonal range benefits from careful output and EQ settings. Try it with the intended amplifier or cabinet treatment, since a raw distortion-pedal output can differ greatly from a finished recorded guitar tone.
For direct recording, check interface input gain and monitoring latency before evaluating the sound. A pedal or amplifier processor may still need separate cabinet processing, depending on the signal chain.
