RoughRider3
By Audio Damage
RoughRider3 is a characterful compressor intended for pronounced dynamics shaping. It is useful on drums and other sources where pumping or added sustain can serve the arrangement. Its response is more of a creative option than a neutral guarantee. Check the current official free download and compare at similar level when deciding how much of the effect the part needs.
Set timing against the performance and compare at similar output level. Listen to attack, sustain and pauses, since a level-control change can alter the musical phrasing as well as peak readings.
