r8brain Free converts audio sample rates and bit depths in a dedicated file-processing workflow. It is useful for preparing delivery files or converting an archive without opening a full recording session. A converter should be configured for the actual destination specification, with the resulting file checked afterward. Keep the original high-resolution source so later delivery changes do not require processing an already converted copy.
Keep an untouched source file when making destructive edits or conversions. Check the exported audio as well as the project, particularly when the destination requires a specific sample rate or bit depth.
