Exact Audio Copy
By Andre Wiethoff
Exact Audio Copy extracts audio from compact discs with a workflow focused on reliable reading and error reporting. It is useful for preserving a personal disc collection and preparing files for further editing or reference. Drive configuration and disc condition affect the result. Review the extraction log and retain it with the files rather than assuming that every apparently completed rip has the same confidence level.
Check the selected input, output and monitoring path before beginning important work. A short test file can reveal routing or format problems that are not obvious from a meter alone.
