QMidiArp
By QMidiArp Contributors
QMidiArp generates arpeggiated patterns and other MIDI modulation in a Linux music setup. It is useful for turning held notes into rhythmic parts and coordinating event patterns with external instruments. The receiving synthesizer determines the resulting sound. Check clock synchronization, channels and note-off behavior before using a pattern generator as part of a live performance.
MIDI carries performance instructions rather than recorded sound. Confirm the receiving instrument, channel assignments and note mapping when exchanging a file or moving the setup to another computer.
Requires a receiving MIDI instrument and appropriate routing; standalone and plug-in availability depend on the build.
