Orca is a grid-based programming environment for generating musical control patterns. Characters act as operators, producing timed interactions that can drive MIDI, OSC or other destinations. It is useful for experimental sequencing and performances built from visible rule systems. Orca is a control environment rather than a complete synthesizer, so a receiving instrument and its routing are part of the setup.
