OpenMPT

OpenMPT is a tracker-based composition application descended from the module-music tradition. Notes, instruments and effects are entered in patterns, offering precise control over sample-based arrangements. It is useful for tracker musicians, game-audio work and producers who prefer numerical pattern editing. Its workflow differs substantially from a piano-roll workstation, so the introductory documentation is a useful starting point.

Before a full session, check audio-device selection, input monitoring and the project sample rate. A short saved project and exported audio file are useful first checks of the complete workflow.
