HYLL Pressure
By Hell Yes Loop Lab
HYLL Pressure combines soft clipping, saturation, density and a ceiling control, with a blend for parallel treatment. It is useful for reshaping peaks and adding harmonic weight to drums, vocals or bass. The developer permits commercial music production and offers a zero-price download. It is not presented as a replacement for a final true-peak limiter, so delivery checking remains a separate step after the creative processing has been chosen.
Input level is part of the sound of nonlinear processing. Compare with output gain compensated, and listen to both transient detail and quieter passages before committing a strongly colored render.
