Hydrogen
By Hydrogen Project
Hydrogen is a pattern-based drum machine for programming rhythms and assembling them into songs. Drum-kit sample playback and a dedicated pattern workflow make it useful for rehearsal tracks, electronic percussion and preproduction. It offers a focused alternative to opening a complete workstation when the immediate task is building or revising a drum arrangement.
When replacing another drum instrument, check note mapping and velocity response before judging the arrangement. The same MIDI pattern can produce a different balance when voices and articulations move between notes.
