Fabla

Fabla is a sample-based drum instrument for compatible Linux hosts. Pads and sample controls provide a direct way to construct a kit and play or sequence it from MIDI. It is useful for personal percussion collections and pattern-based arrangements. The software license is separate from sample-content rights, and a session archive should include the actual samples as well as the instrument settings.
The player and its sound content are separate licensing decisions. Keep a note of the library source and save its location with the project so the instrument remains available when reopening a session.
Requires a compatible LV2 host and separately supplied samples where needed.
