EXOVERB
By Sennheiser / Dear Reality
EXOVERB is a stereo reverb built around a collection of acoustic scenes and control over early and late energy. It is useful for adding a sense of placement and depth to instruments or vocals. Its spatial emphasis should still be evaluated within the arrangement. The official Dear Reality free-download program supplies the software, with email registration and a compatible host required.
A send-and-return setup makes it easy to balance the space independently from the source. Check exposed pauses and dense passages, where the same decay can have very different effects on clarity.
