Bitcom (legacy)
By Audio Damage
Bitcom is a legacy rhythmic bit-crushing effect for deliberately digital textures. It is useful for turning loops and sustained audio into more fragmented, degraded material. The discontinued version is officially available free and supplied without support. Check the older format requirements, keep the original source and save an audio render when an unusual processed passage becomes part of the arrangement.
Save intermediate versions while experimenting, especially before a large routing or parameter change. Keeping the original source alongside a rendered result makes later arrangement and revision much easier.
Official discontinued legacy release, supplied as-is without support. VST2/AU only where supplied; no modern-format compatibility assumed.
