BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover
By Spitfire Audio
BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover provides a compact orchestral instrument selection for composition and arrangement. It is useful for sketching orchestral parts without the storage and complexity of a larger library. Its reduced articulations and microphone options are deliberate limitations of the free tier. Account and download-manager requirements apply, and other BBC Symphony Orchestra editions are commercial products.
Audition the instrument with the actual musical part, including its velocity range and register. A sound that is attractive in isolation may need a different balance once other instruments enter.
Restricted articulations and microphone options; Spitfire account and installer required.
