Privacy Policy

The Audio Magazine collects only the information reasonably necessary to operate and improve this website, respond to communications, measure readership and support advertising.

Information we collect

When you visit the site, our hosting, security, analytics and advertising services may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring pages and approximate location derived from an IP address. If you contact us or submit a form, we receive the information you choose to provide.

Classifieds

When you create or submit a classified advertisement, TAM retains the account, seller contact and listing information needed to administer and moderate the service. Seller email addresses and other private contact information are not displayed publicly.

When you use the classifieds contact form, TAM retains the name, email address and message you submit and relays the inquiry to the seller. We retain this information for operation and administration of the classifieds service, security, abuse and fraud prevention, and dispute or incident review when necessary. Contacting a seller does not by itself subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing list.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The site may use cookies and similar technologies for essential operation, security, audience measurement, preferences and advertising. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ad delivery and performance and, where permitted, to select or personalize advertising. The availability of controls and consent choices may vary by location and applicable law.

Sharing and retention

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze or operate the site and deliver advertising. Classified inquiry information is also relayed to the seller whose advertisement you choose to contact. We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of exchanging it directly for money. Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, legal obligations and security.

External links

Articles may link to manufacturers, retailers and other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the site and the services used to operate it change. Questions about this policy may be sent through the site's contact method.
