EasyEffects

EasyEffects provides system-level audio processing for supported Linux desktops, with chains of effects applied to input or output streams. It is useful for microphone treatment, listening correction and controlled routing experiments outside a conventional DAW. The effects chain and device selection influence every connected application. Keep a documented baseline and avoid applying the same correction twice through both system processing and a host plug-in.

Judge tonal changes with the part playing in the arrangement. Matching the bypass and processed listening levels helps avoid choosing a setting simply because it sounds louder or brighter.
