Layers is a free orchestral instrument collection for the SINE environment, organized for quick composition and ensemble-based writing. It is useful for sketching orchestral gestures and harmonic foundations without building an articulation-heavy template. It is a focused library rather than the developer’s complete orchestral catalog. A free account, compatible player and content installation are required.
Audition the instrument with the actual musical part, including its velocity range and register. A sound that is attractive in isolation may need a different balance once other instruments enter.
